Alasdair Koplick has spent the last 8 years working in live sound, first as a hobby through school and university societies, and then later in a professional
capacity, running sound for The Liar,
The Bitch and The Wardobe at the Turbine Theatre in Battersea.
He has experience mixing live sound for bands, plays, pantomines, small-scale drama productions, and large scale musicals with live bands. He also has extensive sound
design and mixing experience through his music career under the alias Aeix , some examples of which can
be found below from the last musical he worked on; Alice by Heart at the
University of Manchester. Outside of theatre, he has previously worked at Bunny Jacksons
as well as at the Univeristy of Manchester Student Festival
between 2022 and 2024 to provide live sound for bands.
The various sound desks he has experience with include X32 & M32, Yamaha MG16, Yamaha TF5 and Yamaha LS9 (from most to least time spent on
desk). He also has experience both programing and operating lighting desks, in particular ETC's Ion and Colorsource desks, as well as having regularly
used Theatre mix to manage DCAs on the X32 for large scale musicals, and Qlab. He is also familiar with rigging lights, truss, steeldeck through helping to construct
the Paradise Green venues at fringe for the last 2 years. He can be contacted via email or phone for
